K&K Sport

Sport is a project for a company's showroom to display its wide range of products: trophies, medals, plaques, small figurines. It consists of welcoming area, customer service space , main showroom area and adjacent small office corner. The main challenge designing this space was to accommodate all the different products in the area of 70 sq. m while preserving modern clean and elegant lines of the furniture equipment and still by chosing the right design elements make the showroom feel open and airy. Based on its location in the heart of the bustling city, the concept has been developed to include urban elements seen in the brick walls and self-leveling concrete floor. Yet the cleanliness is kept with the use of white in contrast with the dark graphite grey appearing used in wall coverings and and as furniture material. A modular rack system with illuminated shelves was created to display and accentuate on the numeruous products. It is made of black matt painted metal profiles and MDF clad in natural oak veneer. The working desks are inspired by the predominat "K" letter in the company's logo and because of their entrance position made eye-catching and suitable for the design concept of the showroom. To make the store layout successfull and highlight the trophies, give them a luxury look in a way that they attract, an important role plays the lightning system. It consists of ceiling hung spot projectors and LED lightning on shelves and cases.
